Josephine Png, the creator of by jojo designs, is a Chinese Caribbean multidisciplinary visual artist who uses her artwork to connect to her heritage. Her artwork addresses themes of discovery, belonging and touches on important topics such as colourism, our relationship with nature and with self.

Josephine is self-taught and decided to reconnect with her passion for creating art five years ago after a long leave of absence during which she pursued a career in law. Her practice involves painting, illustration and the digital medium. She explores texture, colour, perspective and shadows to evoke depth and dimension in her pieces.
